Life- this way, please.

Earn- to live.
Live- to Love¹.

1. Make Love an ultimate goal of your life. Let all your deeds  proceed out of Love for God.  For without God, there is no Love; without Love, there is no life- no living.

Skeptic and the 'word of God'

Skeptic :  "I could write something down and say, this is from God- it doesn’t mean that it really is. Is there any proof that 'Holy Bible' is the inspired word of God?"

Faithful : The Sacred scripture is the living word ,inspired by God. The men who were instrumental in writing this word were under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the wisdom that has come from above. The scripture says," the wisdom that comes down from above is essentially something pure; it is also Peaceable, kindly and Considerate; it is full of Mercy and shows itself by doing good; nor is there any trace of partiality or hypocrisy in it." [ james3:17]. Christ says," ‘It is the spirit that gives life, the flesh has nothing to offer. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life." [John6: 63]. The written word of God has life giving Spirit. It has Divine quality. The sacred scripture says," so it is with the word that goes from my mouth: it will not return to me unfulfilled or before having carried out my good pleasure and having achieved what it was sent to do." [ Isaiah 55: 11 ]

The word of God gives us the Grace and strength  and compels us in doing Good. It makes the 'will of God'- it's rule, and HIS Glory- its end.



The word born of human reasoning lacks God's Spirit. It's aim is personal victory rather than the triumph of the 'Truth'. This is truly a false wisdom. The Sacred scripture says," But if at heart you have the bitterness of jealousy, or selfish ambition, do not be boastful or hide the 'Truth' with lies; this is not the wisdom that comes from above, but earthly, human and devilish." [James 3:14-15 ] and the effect that it produces is disharmony and wickedness of every kind.


If the above refutation seems to be insufficient to the unbeliever, then St. Thomas Aquinas says,"  If our opponent believes nothing of Divine revelation, there is no longer any means of proving the articles of Faith by reasoning, but only of answering his objections---if he has any---against Faith." [  Saint Thomas Aquinas Summa Theologica I (7).]

Faith vs reason

Reason (ignorance about God ) needs to be won by our Faith and Love in Christ Jesus, as Lord Jesus Himself said : " by your Love they'll know , you are my Disciples. ". Engaging a battle of reasons doesn't gain much.




* bad faith (belief in Gods other than Jesus Christ) is won not by persuading words- but, by the sanctity of our life in Jesus Christ. 

Time for God

We are so busy with life , that we can hardly find time for God. But its not the question of finding time for God.

God gives us life for each day. He gives it generously, so that we may live it fruitfully in HIM. And we on our part, hardly spare any time for God.


God gives us a full measure for each day and HE expect us to return it in full (our fruitful work). And the only way we can do this, is by doing our work in the awareness of HIS presence- by living each moment in God.


This is the duty of each moment - to live in the presence of God, believing that God-is-with-us.

Faith in God

Where everything (Hope) is dead- there, Faith lives.

Because, Faith lives with God.

The Times- Now

In the light of the Holy Bible, the times now can be interpreted in a single verse : " When Love of God grows cold in our heart, it gives rise to every kind of wickedness and lawlessness."

The Holy Scripture says, "  Watch and Pray ". Watch - where your heart is leading you; where the times now is leading you. And Pray !

No " Human Law " has the power to destroy the Evil. Evil is conquered and destroyed only through Faith in God.

And as the Holy Scripture says:  "Today, if you hear his voice, do not harden your hearts...". Do not harden your heart to believe in God and change your wrong way of life.
But unfortunately, due to weak human nature, we have to learn a hard lesson- always !

God is a Faithful-loving-Father, who patiently waits for HIS children. It is we , who have to come back to HIM- with Humility and with Faith, united in GOD.

Humility

Sin is abhorrent to God.

But God looks mercifully on those with humble heart- God loves the humility of a Contrite heart.

Humility brings us to repentance-  it reconcile us with God.

Pride stagnates us into ignorance of God- and sin. It makes us worthless.

Humility makes us resilient in God- it renews our spirit and makes us alive.

Humility listens to God's voice- responds to God's invitation.

Humility welcomes Faith- and grows in the direction of Faith. Pride blocks Faith.

Humility cannot exist without God. we cannot live humble life without acknowledging God's presence  in our life.
