Life built on the rock of integrity and virtue

Life built on the rock of integrity and virtue

With reference to the beauty of the outward appearance, the pomp, and the vanity, the conversation between Zipporah and Prophet Moses in the film "The Ten Commandments" effectively portrays the power of integrity.

A jewel has brilliant fire,
but gives no warmth.
Our hands are not so soft,
but they can serve.
Our bodies are not so white,
but they are strong.
Our lips are not perfumed,
but they speak the truth.
Love is not an art to us.
It's life to us.
We are not dressed in gold or fine linen,
Strength and honour are our clothing.
Our tents are not the marbled halls of Egypt,
but our children play happily before them.
We can offer you little,
but we offer all we have.

Boyfriend-Girlfriend

The youthful relationship is particularly meant to know each Other well- emotionally, psychologically and spiritually- how each person feels, thinks and understands. It helps to know each Others' differences- to know each Others' strengths. Boyfriend-Girlfriend type of relationship is an experimental ground to practice Trust; Purity and  Commitment in relationship. A good healthy relationship will keep  every kind of youthful immorality away and thus avoid the 'youthful mess' (Abortions; unwanted pregnancies; use of Contraceptives; break-ups etc.)
The beauty of this relationship is- you are living precious moments of your life with someone you love and someone you long to be with. An upright  relationship will make you into a Man and Woman- pleasing to God. Furthermore, it will eventually prepare a base for stable relationship in the future. Additionally, it will teach you to love and respect one another.

Boyfriend-Girlfriend type of relationship is not meant to explore the physical side of your being. Indulging yourself in a tainted relationship, is a form of wickedness. And wickedness, is a sin which is abhorrent to God.

Married Life

The primary purpose of married life is not for carnal satisfaction. If the first rung of your married life begins on sexual satisfaction, then your life is headed for ruin.

The purpose of married life is- to live life in love; to share life in love; to share responsibilities and difficulties in love; to live a life of mutual companionship in love; to bring forth your offspring in love.

When sexual relationship is handled with lust, it seeks sexual satisfaction. sexual relationship  needs to be handled in love- " I take my wife in singleness of heart- not for any lustful motive." [Tobit 8:7 ]
