A moment of Light

A single spiritual moment is so precious; so valuable and so Holy. It is like a Brilliant Light.

Moments of sin are like darkness¹- a whole lot of darkness.

A single little spiritual moment is a great consolation- for it dispels the darkness and brings us closer to God.

Let your day be filled with the presence of at least a single moment of light²-  to dispel the darkness of several other unfruitful moments.

1. Gloom; anxiety; Hopelessness; unbelief.

2. A moment of Faith; Goodness; Hope in God; Good deed; Gratefulness to God; a quiet time with God.

Christ- our Good Shepherd

Christ comes searching for us, like a Good shepherd.
He patiently waits for our return home- like a Merciful Father of a prodigal son .
But we are busy in worthless¹ living - till our mortal flesh is all defiled² and our weak faith is almost lost.

1. life without the reverence of God is worthless.

2. life of vanity exposes us to every evil and makes us vulnerable.

Love and Forgiveness

A person who does not forgive- doesn't  love.
A person who doesn't love¹- does not know God.
A person who does not know God- is a unworthy person-   a slave²of vanity.

1. Love comes from God.
2. Vanity rules his heart and his life .

And, we say- we don't need God.

Our heart receives the strength¹ to love- from God.
Our heart receives the inspiration to love- from God.
Our heart receives the Grace to forgive and patiently bear the hurt feelings- from God.
Our heart receives the Grace to believe in God's faithful love- in difficult moments- from God.

If we don't believe in God; if we don't incline our heart towards the love of God- who will teach our heart to Love? Who will revive our heart?







1. When our love grow cold, we  are not able to understand each other and bear patiently with each other- not able to forgive each other.

The narrow gate of life

To live according to the commandments¹ of God- is a narrow gate.

To live according to the practices of the world; to live according to our natural inclinations²- is a wide gate.

1. Following God's commandments is a hard road- as it yields fruits (love, Joy, Peace and every goodness)  through patience and perseverance.
God's commandments inclines our heart to the 'kingdom of God'- to a life of Love; Peace; Eternal life.

2. Human nature looks forward to satisfaction and happiness, in only earthly things. It looks no further than the world. it is inclined towards destruction- as it is opposed to God's commandments.

A call to unity- in Christ Jesus

God scattered mankind in different nations, speaking different languages, all over the world- because man united in his pride to defy¹ the authority of God.

Man's enterprise in building a great tower for himself, was not for the Glory of God- but for his own glory; to satisfy his ever-increasing lust for achievements.

That which began as a small enterprise in building the 'Tower of Babel'²(reaching Heaven) has eventually reached the skies in modern advancement and technology- not acknowledging God or giving Glory to God- rather, being proud of his accomplishments.

Nevertheless- today, God calls us to repentance; to unity- in one faith; in one Love, in Christ Jesus- our Lord.

In Christ alone, we are unity- one world.







1. "let us build ourselves a city... and make a name for ourselves". [Genesis 11:4]

Rather than living according to Yahweh's commandments and becoming Yahweh's people and Yahweh's Blessed nation.

2. 'Tower of Babel' signifies the defying attitude of mankind towards God.

Those who don't acknowledge God- they have their own 'Tower of Babel'-  their accomplishments; fame; beauty; wealth; education etc.

we must acknowledge God for every aspect of our being; our life.

When we don't acknowledge God- we defy God.

Faith

Faith is- a Grace of perfect confidence¹ in God- a Grace given to Humble souls².

1. For God everything is possible. HE is the Master of all the circumstances. HE does everything for our own good (Everything HE wills for our life, is for our own good.)

This is the confidence which we should feel in our heart- each time we think about God.

2. souls who are eager and willing to know God and live in God.
