The persevering faith of the Syro‑Phoenician woman inspires my own life and strengthens my faith in God.
She came to Jesus seeking HIS blessing, pleading for the cure of her afflicted daughter.
And I too plead with Jesus for mercy upon my afflicted mother— a cancer patient for the second time.
Together, my mother and I persevere in our faith, waiting upon HIS saving help.
Though she endures painful, physically exhausting chemotherapy each month, yet she perseveres, keeping her faith and hope strong in God. Her steadfastness is a living witness to the strength that comes from trusting Jesus.
